8.1 release has started to bring improvements, 8.2 continued to build on this.

I really don't understand this 'DisplayLink' guys doing something to support their users.
They are really don't feel whats wrong with their product.
Even this unacceptable situation comes from Windows 10 AU or device manufacturers, they have to help to find out solutions for their customers.
the 8.0 M3 driver still not the solution for this situation.

I expect kind of a fix for this horrible situation from cumulative update for Windows 10, KB3194798, dated on 11th OCT but nothing goes well.
there's no changelog for this update, it probably not to fix this situation.
the Displaylink tech is really sucks now. I can't use any sweet word for "the DisplayLink"

Finally, I've remove Dell D3100 Displaylink dock from my surface pro 3 due to horrible delays on external display and mouse. I can't not use my laptop even just do web surfing.
there are no problem to use anything when I connect the display into miniDP port on surface pro 3 directly. I really don't understand why they still don't find solution for these problem.

I'm not so sure about the terrible lag caused by displaylink driver or windows 10 anniversary update.
if there is any video data update(even move web browser window within desktop) on external display then system clock goes down bellow half of maximum clock.
the redrawing of mouse point is also generate system lag problem.
this is not related to just a single display.
do anything on main display will not cause any problem.

this laggy mouse situation has been half cleared by the 8.1.Alpha.
it looks much better than previous version of DisplayLink drivers but still shows uncomfortable performance problem.
it's not just a mouse pointer problem.
maybe whole system performance affected by video data update on displaylink device.
