One clarification: a browser-based wheel test can show whether the browser receives reversed or skipped scroll events, but it can’t identify whether the cause is the mouse, an operating-system setting, an app, or a DisplayLink driver. I run MouseWheelTest.com, which records browser-side wheel events: https://mousewheeltest.com/ . If the issue happens only with a DisplayLink setup, compare the same mouse directly on the computer and in another app before concluding the mouse is faulty.
