Have you ever moved from macOS to Linux, or made the journey in the opposite direction?

I’ve been using a MacBook provided by my employer for the past few years, and my experience with macOS has been a mix of great moments and frustrations. There are definitely things I appreciate, especially the quality of built-in applications like Mail, Calendar, and Keynote. The performance and efficiency of Apple’s M-series chips are also impressive, particularly in laptops where battery life and power are hard to match.

However, as a developer, I still find myself missing many aspects of Linux. The flexibility of the environment, better window management, native Docker support without relying on a virtual machine, and the overall level of control are things I really enjoy.

I’m curious about other people’s experiences: Have you switched from macOS to Linux, or from Linux to macOS? Was the transition smooth, and do you feel it improved your workflow or productivity? flash games

For me, Windows is not really an option. Between the increasing number of ads, privacy concerns, and system restrictions, it doesn’t fit what I’m looking for. I also don’t use my computer for gaming, so that advantage doesn’t really matter in my case.
