The Gauntlet of Gaia
A brutal, high-speed, last-person-standing race across a procedurally generated, collapsing planet where players must balance speed, survival crafting, and tactical sabotage to reach the final, shrinking extraction zone.
Setting and Lore: The Shattered World
The World (Aethel): A planet undergoing a catastrophic, accelerated "Terra-Collapse." The environment is volatile, with zones randomly cycling between extreme weather (Blizzards, Acid Rain, Volcanic Eruptions, Toxic Fog).
The Race (The Zenith Run): An annual, globally broadcast event organized by "The Consortium," a wealthy organization that profits from the planet's remaining resources. The winner earns safe passage and a lifetime of luxury on an orbiting space station. Everyone else is left behind.
The Goal: Be the first (or last person standing) to reach the Zenith Gate, an evacuation ship that lands in a randomized, rapidly closing safe zone at the end of the race.
- Core Gameplay Loop The game is a fixed-duration match (e.g., 20-30 minutes) where the primary loop involves:
Race/Navigation: Use a map/compass to navigate toward the final objective, which is constantly shifting based on environmental threats. Survival Race
Survival: Manage three meters: Health, Stamina, and Exposure (a meter affected by heat, cold, or toxicity). Failure to manage Exposure leads to accelerated health drain.
Scavenge & Craft: Quickly harvest resources (wood, metal, rare compounds) to craft essential gear:
Mobility: Temporary boosts, crude vehicles, ziplines.
Protection: Insulated clothing, gas masks, radiation shields.
Weapons/Traps: Basic melee, tripwires, noise lures.
Confrontation (PvPvE): Engage rival racers or fight off aggressive, mutated wildlife (PvE) that are drawn to noise and light.
