Implement Clamshell mode for Big Sur / M1 Chip
I cannot run external displays while in clamshell mode on Big Sur, while the laptop is open it works perfectly fine.
The second you close the laptop and enter clamshell mode you lose signal to your external displays.

It would be great to support for Intel Macs as well...

Clamshell mode was working fine wiht DisplayLink Manager 1.2. It stopped to work with DisplayLink Manager 1.3. I have a 2020 Macbook pro (intel) and Dell D6000 docking station.

The clamshell mode works for me with my MBP M1 in combination with a thunderbolt 3 dock. I'm using a HP G2 Thunderbolt dock. The MBP is connected to the dock via USB-C-Thunderbolt 3. The first monitor is directly connected to the DisplayPort whereas the second monitor is connected via an 4K-DisplayLink adaptor to one of the dock's USB3.0-A ports. When I close the laptop lid the DisplayLink monitor keeps working.
