The list of display link on Chromebook on this site is conservative!
Yesterday I was updated to Chrome OS 52 on my Toshiba CB 2 (2014) and guess wat: Displaylink now works, and more: it works better than on my Macbook, when using it as a Citrix client.
Reasons why it is better:
- When docked to displaylink, Chromebook keeps running with the lid is closed (this also saves battery)
- scroll direction of mouse and touchpad are indepent of each other
- In full screen mode, there is no host window any more, this circumvents accidently disconnecting (by clicking the wrong topright close icon)
