This should be fixed by the 2.5 Mac release. If you still have issues, please raise a support issue through the “Contact Us” form

Display link has made my brand new MAC pro unstable. Randomly, when I plug some USB device (like printer), it will crash the MAC. My trackpad would move the mouse but not be able to click or take any actions. I had stopped using it for MAC for a while hoping El Captain and DL will get along but they do not.
No more using it as after about 2 years of having issues, I am going to look for another solution. This one renders my MAC useless once every other day.
I used to recommend it others but now I will caution them against it until I hear good things on the Forums.

Come on Display link. El Capitan has been out in the market for a month and in beta for over five months now. You should be embarrassed that you only have a highly unstable beta driver released. Get it together and stop blaming the hardware manufacturers. Your software is unstable on multiple platforms the problem lies with your company not with anyone else. Fix YOUR issues!

my displaylink kensington is becoming unusable, each time I detach & attach it the ethernet port stop working and I have to restart my mac.
I will stop to use my dock until these problems will be solved.
