The DisplayLink Android app is only for video support of a DisplayLink enabled product. The DisplayLink audio device uses in audio driver built into Android, and the OS configuration. Currently audio cannot be configured through the DisplayLink app.
However this can be controlled with 3rd party apps, for example Lesser Audio Switch which is available from the Play Store.
