The DisplayLink user guides, release notes and troubleshooting documents are only offered as PDF. That works for printing, but it makes them awkward to use in the two places IT people actually read them: inside a ticketing system and inside an internal wiki or runbook.

A plain text or Markdown version of the same documents would fix that. It can be pasted into a ticket without losing the table formatting, diffed between driver releases to see exactly what changed in the release notes, and indexed by internal search tools that do not extract text from PDF well.

Right now the workaround is converting the PDF yourself. I use https://pdf2md.me for that, which runs in the browser and keeps tables and heading levels, but a first party text version would be more reliable than anyone's conversion, especially for the tables of supported chipsets and resolutions.

Not asking to drop the PDF, just to publish a text or Markdown copy alongside it.
