How Do You Choose a Paint by Numbers Kit When There Are Too Many Options?
I spent almost an hour looking for a paint by numbers kit yesterday and somehow ended up even more undecided than when I started. There are landscapes, city scenes, flowers, animals... after a while everything starts to blur together. Then I noticed the best sellers section on https://www.paintbynumbers-adults.com/collections/best-sellers, and I figured that's probably where people like me should start instead of randomly opening dozens of different collections. At least those designs seem to be the ones many people actually chose. For those who have been painting for a while, do you usually pick the most popular kits first, or do you ignore what's trending and simply choose whatever catches your eye?

I used to overthink it exactly the same way. My first purchase took me longer to choose than it took to paint. Eventually I realized there isn't really a "perfect" design—there's only one you'll actually enjoy spending time with. My first kit came from a best sellers section because I assumed those designs were popular for a reason, and it turned out to be a good decision. The colors were balanced, the picture looked great when finished, and it gave me enough confidence to try more detailed paintings afterward.
