Question about posting guidelines in the News & Announcements section
Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing an issue with my DisplayLink dock and I'm hoping someone here has found a solution.
My setup includes a Windows 11 laptop connected to a DisplayLink dock driving two external monitors. Everything works perfectly when I first connect the dock, but after the laptop goes to sleep and wakes up, one or both monitors sometimes remain black or disconnect completely. In some cases, Windows still detects the displays, but there is no image. The only temporary fix I've found is unplugging and reconnecting the dock or restarting the DisplayLink service.
I've already tried updating the DisplayLink Manager software, reinstalling graphics drivers, disabling USB selective suspend, and checking for firmware updates on the dock. The issue still occurs several times per week.
Has anyone successfully resolved monitor disconnects specifically after sleep/wake on Windows 11? If so, what driver versions, settings, or troubleshooting steps ultimately fixed it for you?
For reference:
Windows 11 Pro 24H2
Dual 1080p monitors
Latest DisplayLink software available from the website
Issue occurs on both USB-C and USB-A connections
I'd appreciate any suggestions or experiences from users with a similar setup.
Thanks in advance! top game
