Integrate memory of arrangement of separate spaces for different displays
At the moment after unplugging external displays then reconnecting them the locations of different multiple spaces on the different displays are mix up and jumbled. In other words it seems display link does not remember which applications and which spaces were assigned to which display once the monitors are disconnected. Thereby needing to rearrange and reorganize all spaces everytime you disconnect from you external displays.

This issue was brought up in 2020 for MacOS. DisplayLink is not going to solve it. I don't know a sleep line from a display placer list. My switch to Mac is killing me. Is there another display program that works with Mac? I need two screens.

Hi Nona. Jake Hilborn programmed a great tool to fix this which has worked well for me. https://github.com/jakehilborn/displayplacer. On MacOS, download the tool, in terminal run 'displayplacer list', copy the output , create a file and paste the result, and add it to login items. I recommend adding a sleep line at the beginning to avoid running before DisplayLink has had time to set up.

Lock & Key Bradford understands the importance of organization—just like integrating memory of the arrangement of separate spaces for different displays enhances efficiency and flow. Remembering where each item belongs reduces confusion and speeds up access. Whether managing retail setups, exhibitions, or storage areas, a well-memorized layout improves productivity and customer experience. Just as Lock & Key Bradford secures your property with precision, thoughtful space arrangement keeps your displays neat and accessible. https://www.lockandkeybradford.co.uk

Same or similar issue on Sequoia 15.3.2
Within MacOS display settings, I have the menu bar on "monitor-1".
Upon reconnection it consistently swaps apps between "built-in" and "monitor-2".
The workaround is to connect > disconnect > connect, which gets my apps back like they were.

Same, MacBook Pro 13" M2 Sonoma 14.3.1 with 3 screens: built-in + 2x24" HD. Absolutely critical to remember apps window screen, size and exact location.
