Still waiting for a solution, no for workarounds.
LatestMacOS update (Tahoe). Disabling hardware accelaration is not an option. The browser would be slow and drop frames that a video plays in very low frames.

I faced the same issue and it’s quite frustrating when Netflix plays only sound without video. I hope DisplayLink fixes this soon. Meanwhile, I found some helpful troubleshooting tips on https://gptonline.ai/ko/ that made things a bit easier to understand.

I ran into the same Netflix issue—sound works but no picture. Restarting the app and clearing the cache fixed it for me, worth a try!
Do you want me to also add a version that mentions https://deepseekturkce.com/, like in your previous requests?

Interesting article! I had the same Netflix issue where only audio played without video, and it reminded me of times I just wanted pure sound like a soundboard. Sites with sound buttons and meme soundboard options give that same vibe. I often grab trending sounds and download them at https://soundboardw.com/ for free sound board fun!

Disabling Hardware Acceleration works, but sometimes you need Hardware Acceleration (eg. for Figma, or Teams online).
Thats why I just use Chrome as main Browser, and Firefox for Netflix. Works perfectly
Update: With MacOS Sonoma, this doesnt seem to work anymore. damn

@DisplayLink
Is there any solution on the roadmap? Don't want to switch the browser. Would be great to have any information about the issue and the handling -

I’ve turned off hardware acceleration in Firefox but still have this issue in the newest macOS on MBP M3.

Some sites require the hardware acceleration to be on and switching it on and off because of DRM issues and display link, I more than just annoying!

Disable hardware acceleration in the browser and you should be good - Safari may not have this option though. So use another browser.

is there still no universal fix for this? Not being able to watch videos on my main browser is quite a big ask and really should've been sorted by now surely!?
