Fix drivers about screen lag when using external 4K monitor (macOS Catalina)
Please fix DisplayLink Drivers as using an external 4K monitor (Samsung S32R750) with Targus DV4K with latest drivers (5.2.5) on macOS Catalina (10.15.6 on MacBook Pro 16" 2020) plugged through Apple USB-C cable (40 Gbits) is making everything "laggy" on the external 4K (mouse, space change, video playing, etc.).
Everything has been tested (cables check and changes, switching HDMI or DisplayPort, using original Targus single USB-C cable or using Apple USB-C cable, etc.) to see this issue it is ONLY and DIRECTLY linked to DisplayLink Drivers on MacOS.
No issues when using a simple USB-C adapter with 4K HDMI (instead of my Targus DV4K Dock) : this is crazy as most of these adaptors are under $100 or even $50 compared to my Targus DV4K which is more than $300 !!

My Targus DOCK180 is just unusable. This needs to be fixed! As of now, this thing is a brick. I can't suffer through my mouse constantly hanging.

Same here, the display link software is super trash when trying to link 2 4K monitors to my QGeeM docking station.

Agree with this! Running two external monitors and since upgrading to Catalina 10.15.7 it's become SOOOO laggy!

Same here! Only laggy when I run display link. Running on latest Catalina 10.15.7 connected to 2 monitors through TOTU docking station. My HDMI asus monitor runs smooth without display link, but in order to use the 2nd monitor Samsung ue590 4K I need to be running display link. When running display link the samsung monitor works but its laggy. Also tested cables but nope, its only when running display link.

Second this. The mouse was fine before I upgraded to Catalina (ninja upgrade or I clicked the wrong thing after putting it off for months) and now the mouse cursor lag is actually insane. Almost unusable. I am using the DisplayLink HDMI to USB adapter.

Same issue here. I have dual Samsung 4k curved monitors...laggy as hell when switching between windows or moving the mouse within screens. Plugged in my old WavLink Thunderbolt doc and it's smooth. I have a macbook pro running Catalina 10.15.7. Got this doc because of the 100w of power...but it should perform better than the 60w WavLink i would think.
