So are you going to FIX the video versus mass storage device USB driver issue between Windows 10 Anniversary and HP Docking HSTNN S01X , or are we just out of luck?

This cannot be fixed by DisplayLink as we now need to use the Microsoft USB driver. The Microsoft USB driver cannot support switching USB configurations, which is required to support these docks. This means there are no plans to fix this issue.

Seriously, Windows 10 installs this update without asking me, and reports the displaylink driver deletion *after* the update.

seriously, I just bought this thing and it worked for 1 day. after the windows update it doesn't recognize the adapter.

This update has also stopped sound working over USB on Dell docking station , seems short-sighted for DisplayLink to use software that breaks their hardware?
