I Use Ubuntu GNU/Linux for business and pleasure and I have no issues when I use the display horizontal (1920x1080 for watching movies) but as soon as I rotate it 90 deg to the left right or to the left (1080x1920 for coding, PDFs, and browsing forums) It lags. but is fine with my PDF reader and some of my IDEs. I'm assuming based on my experience its fine with applications that are mostly white like Code::Blocks and Okular. Hey DisplayLink devs, MacOS and Linux users are just as important and should get the same treatment Windows customers do when it comes to drivers, functionality, stability, and support. If your going to be slow about it just be cool and open source your drivers so the community can help!
