1.3.1 does not fix the issue of my 4k monitor being missing the option for 2560x1440 hidpi either. All text is blurry at this resolution. Reading the displaylink doco says it will use the resolutions provided by the monitor. My EDID data shows that 2560x1440 is a supported resolution within the CEA options. I guess this means I return the DisplayLink dock and probably also the M1 as this is not a usable solution and given that it appears this request has been here in other threads for a few years that this is something that displaylink can not address. As per the forum threads 1.3.1 also did not address the 4k resolution still being missing for myself. Guess its a bust.
Sadly no inclusion in release 1.4 either. It looks like that Displaylink and M1 simply can not perform sub-integer scaling ;(. 6 months and multiple releases and still no HiDPI on the resolution above 1920x1080. Guess usability for end users is not a priority.
