phone number
How about you including a phone number so we can call you?
5 votesTelephone technical support is offered by the device manufacturers. DisplayLink is unable to offer telephone support and instead offers support through forums and emails.
I must highlight that in most cases for DisplayLink driver investigation, telephone support would NOT be helpful as log file analysis and/or consultation with engineering are necessary. Similarly, remote desktop or other remote control tool would not be more helpful as we would not see what is actually on the screen itself.

We are aware that installing macOS release Version 10.13.4 will cause DisplayLink connected displays to go blank after the OS upgrade, with the current DisplayLink driver [4.1] installed. Functionality such as Ethernet and audio, where implemented, is unaffected. We have alerted Apple to this issue and are working hard to find a resolution. These features continue to work as expected in 10.13.3.
In the meantime, we are releasing a new driver [4.3] that will enable clone mode, but not mirror or extended mode displays in 10.13.4. If you require mirror or extended mode displays, we recommend that you stay on macOS 10.13.3 at this time.
We understand that this loss of functionality on OS upgrade is potentially disruptive for our users and customers. Please be assured that this issue has the highest business priority in DisplayLink. We thank you for your patience and will provide an update on this situation,…

Support WIndows 10 Night Light
With the Windows 10 Creators Update, you can now lower the amount of blue light emitted from your PC with the new Night light feature.
Settings > System > Display
This feature doesn't work on my HP s140u monitor using DisplayLink 8.4.2250.0. I'm guessing it might not work on lots of other devices too.

Enable 4K HDR support to TV's for extended display use when viewing High End Photographs in Capture One or other Photo Edditing software
A large number of Photographers are using high end Cameras capable of recording 16 bits per pixel HDR. There are also a large number of 4K HDR TV's being sold but they only display Jpeg format at 8 bits per pixel. It would be fantastic to have a device that would bring these technologies together so people could use their TV's to view and or edit their HDR photographs properly on a 4K HDR device.
6 votesThank you for the suggestion. Could you specifiy the platform you are using? PC/Mac, which OS, which application and product using DisplayLink technology? For HDR, all elements must do their part and they are not all technically capable.

Do not update to DisplayLink version 7.9M3 on Windows 10, your displays will stop functioning.
DisplayLink just auto updated to version 7.9M3 on Windows 10. My displays stopped functioning and would not start working again, even though the dock was properly recognized in Device Manager. Uninstall current version and return to version 7.9M2 and your displays will begin working again. DisplayLink needs to address this issue.
13 votesV7.9 M3 is required to be compatible with the latest Intel and NVIDIA graphics drivers on Windows 10.
If you are having issues, please let us know through the contact area of the support site, including as much information as possible and your DisplayLink log files so we can look into it further.

I hope in the near future you could extend the "fit to TV" function to multiple displays. Thanks.

Ubuntu drivers eating a lot of CPU. Not always but at least 50% of the times
I have actually a very slow PC because of this:
PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
1541 root 20 0 2343424 51804 2624 S 111.9 1.4 198:49.14 DisplayLinkMana
in other words, DisplayLinkMana(ger) eats a lot of CPU. from 50 to more than 100%sometimes not.
I think this is an issue, that should be fixed.
Thank you.

Make an option to use the desktop monitor as an extension (not just mirror), therefore it can give us the best match resolution display.
It would be better if the app have an option to use the desktop monitor as an extension monitor, therefore the resolution display setting on the android phone can be different with the resolution display setting on the desktop monitor (not just as a mirror only).
Thanks & Best Regards
Tjetjep1 voteWe would love to do it, but it is not possible to do this from an app. This would need Android OS changes. We’ve pushed for this but the user interest has not been there for Google to adopt this feature into Android.

Previous versions of DisplayLink Software
Windows version 8.1 M0 is missing from the Windows Driver Downloads Page under Previous Versions of DisplayLink Software.
3 votesWe have removed versions affected by a small security sensitivity from our website so everyone uses a newer version. 8.1 did not have any specific feature removed afterwards.

Fix What Fall Creator's Update Breaks
Fix Win10 Fall Creator's Update breaking software config of dock software. Win10 update uninstalled dock drivers. I saw a 1-second announcement in lower right corner of screen when Win10 update finished installing that displaylink driver was uninstalled. So far graphics functionality restored but audio stutters upon slightest load on computer if routed through dock. Zero issues with dock several months ago before windows updates.

Support f.lux on Windows
Flux will reduce the amount of blue light emitted by the screen which aids going to bed. As it stands, there is no support for color calibration to DisplayLink connected monitors. DCC/CI commands are supported, but there are issues that make it not a viable solution (http://superuser.com/questions/257606/is-there-a-work-around-to-configure-brightness-or-color-on-a-displaylink-monitor).
809 votesf.lux latest releases have enabled support for DisplayLink indirect displays (Windows 10)
You can download f.lux from https://justgetflux.com/For the few wanted to do real monitor calibration, please contact technical_enquiries@displaylink.com to discuss how to enable this on your particular configuration.

Make DisplayLink drivers work with suspend on Ubuntu
My DisplayLink-attached screen went awry after resuming from suspend, and I see that it's a known issue. Not being able to use suspend on a laptop is a major loss of functionality for me.

Repeatedly disconnecting and reconnecting (STILL)
I'm running an ASUS ROG G56jk-EB72 Gaming Laptop with the latest version of Windows 10 (As of 11/12/2015) 64-Bit. CPU: Intel (R) HD Graphics 4600 & GPU: Nvidea GeForce GTX 850M. Trying to project onto two additional Insignia displays using two Targus USB 3.0 to HDMI HDTV Video Adapter. So I spent about $300 for the displays and $160 on the video adapters and this doesn't even work. I am beyond frustrated. All of my drivers are up to date. I followed the steps as instructed by the troubleshooting page; "How to fix your DisplayLink product…

Add an option to make task icon invisible, when no device is connected
With the recent drivers the behavior of the task icon changed. It is now always visible. It would be great to add an option so that the user could define the preferred behavior.

See all dockingstations of same type as same device
Hi!
We have installed a multitude of workstations with the same type of DisplayLink docking station. When moving from one station to another, the monitor settings are "forgotten" and the new Dell D6000 is seen as a completely new device, and new drivers and settings for monitors, network and usb are needed to be configured.
Therefore I suggest making it possible to have the driver think that all docks of the same type is also the same device. This will make this problem go away.
Thanks
