  1. Support for 2304x1296 resolution (macOS)

    I’m using an OWC Dual 4K HDMI adapter on macOS Sonoma and while it works rather well driving my 4K displays, what I’m missing on the displaylink-connected display is support for 2304x1296 resolution (scaled) - it’s otherwise available when the display is connected directly.

    It’s a very nice middle ground between the size of UI elements and sharpness, and the adapter only provides scaled resolutions of 2560x1440 (a bit smallish and fuzzy) and 2048x1152 (sharper, but too big still).   4. Fix the issue with playing protected content instead of advising people to disconnect their dock to watch streaming services.

    Recommending people disconnect their dock in order to watch protected content is untenable in 2023; this is effectively telling people that their dock is worthless if they use their Mac for personal use (and some professional use). Please fix this capability - or at the very least publish a warning that this incompatibility exists as you do with the M1/M2 chip issues.

  5. Displaylink driver for Ubuntu + Nvidia - Support for monitors in portrait

    Vertical monitors with Ubuntu and Displaylink drivers is not well supported. Especially with NVIDIA drivers installed. I am using the current latest version of Tuxedo OS (TUXEDO-OS-2-202305301020).
    Vertical monitors fail to display properly and leave behind a mouse cursor when moving from external monitor to monitor.

  7. Displaylink app android

    Dsplaylink app on android suggerencies.

    -that it could be forced to change the resolution to 720p or 1080p and/or hz when you project the screen to the tv. As it would help users who don't have much performance on their phone for apps or FPS games.

  9. CPU priority of Displaylink's driver process should be set Higher

    Whatever [DisplayLinkManager.exe] or [WUDFHost.exe], when the driver starts it should be set the priority at least to [Above normal], it is really helpful for fixing the laggy problem. Now I only can do it maunally.

  11. Publish DisplayLink Android app in the Sunmi App store

    Sunmi has it's own app store (https://www.sunmi.com/en-US/appstore/) with lot's of apps. The sunmi devices have a wide range of business devices (point of sale, signature).

    It would be great, if there is a official DisplayLink available. Currently there is only a unfficial app available and not available for all devices.

  12. Close out old tickets in this feature suggestion portal; merge duplicates

    There seem to be some old open requests from previous years that are still open. It'd be great to see those archived so folks can focus their votes/points on valid entries.

  13. Add Network detection like Kensington DockWorks

    Please add network settings to Display-Link Software, so that Kensington DockWorks functionality is available for all Docking Stations:

    • disable WiFi when connecting to a Docking Station with Ethernet Connection
    • Passthrough MAC-Adress from the WiFi-Adpter to the Eth-Adapter in the Dock, so that the same IP-Adress can be used and all network cennections don't need to be reconfigured
    • Enable WiFi again when Dock is disconnected

  14. Night shift and True tone on macOs

    I think it's a big miss not to have Night shift and True tone.
    For those who have an external monitor without a brightness sensor or want the same colors as the internal monitor.
    Working at night is difficult without this feature.

    Please add support for these functions for MacOs

  16. Icon following macOS Big Sur and later guidelines

    Since macOS Big Sur, Apple recommends a square shape for icons instead of the round shape of previous versions.

  17. Interface dex mode deskop and hz.

    That the app had its own desktop interface (as does Samsung's dex mode or Motorola's ready for)

    In addition to that, it would also be good to implement changing the resolution to HD or Full HD.

    (for games mostly)

  18. Display-link drivers breaks network connection

    Hey guys,

    I'm facing an weird issue while I'm using the model-6950z.

    Somehow my Wi-Fi drivers stops to work =/
    I'm currently using the latest version of the drivers.

  20. matlab on Mac won't boot up if I use display link dock station

    Matlab stuck on the initial page and freeze, unless I unplug the station and re-open Matlab. Basically if station is plugged in then Matlab won't boot up.
