Support Night Shift and f.lux for Mac OS
As documented, there is work underway for Windows to support f.lux. However, I haven't seen any clear communication that support Night Shift of f.lux on Mac OS is in the works as neither are supported via DisplayLink. It would be really nice to have these options on Mac.

Adding my voice to the chorus, night shift/flux type dimming of blue light really is my number #1 need at this point.

Hello everyone i have been waiting for this future since i bought displaylink adaptor around 6 months. And since 2017 not much done for this future, and i don't think they are going to make anything in foreseen future. So i found my own solution, you can play with RGB(Red-Green-Blue) settings of your monitor. I have manually adjusted color as R%95, G%45,B%5. And it looks same as f.lux night colour. So this figures might vary depending your monitor, you can adjust it visually for desired temperature. Hope it helps....

Hm, any news about this feature? It's one thing to not support night shift (not good). It's another to say that you're working on it but nothing happens (bad). And it's yet another thing to remain entirely silent about it (really bad).

This is really horrible that NightShift AND Flux are not supported. I'm trying to get some work done this evening, and my screen is bright blue. I only got a DisplayLink adapter due to the M1's inability to support more than one external monitor. Please add this feature soon. :)
