DL main display for Raspbian
Add drivers for ARM, and specifically for Raspbian. Make the drivers work over HDMI instead of (or in addition to) working over USB.
1 voteARM 32 bit binary is included in 4.4.

That’s not an actively supported platform though, due to the low level of requests. HDMI input in DisplayLink isn’t technically possible today. -

Provide Mac kext information for enterprise deployment.
Useful if you published the TEAM ID and KERNEL EXTENSION BUNDLE ID for enterprise deployment. We can track it down but it would be nice to have that information included and easily visible. Thanks.

We are pleased DisplayLink 5.0.1 driver for macOS enables multiple extended display support on the latest Apple macOS 10.14.2 with additional features (clamshell and clone). We continue our strong support for the Mac platform and are working on delivering future updates with further performance improvements.
Driver 5.0.1: https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?id=1257If your DisplayLink enabled device does not seem to work on 10.14, this is most likely due to the OS blocking our kernel extension. Please ensure our kernel extension is enabled by the OS as described in our FAQ: https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/1188004
Should you still miss extended displays on latest macOS with latest DisplayLink driver, please create a support ticket so your particular case can be investigated. Here is how: https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/755301

Allow to not display the Display link icon in the icon tray. This could be done with a simple check box
Allow to not display the Display link icon in the icon tray. This could be done with a simple check box.
1 voteImplemented since Windows 10 Anniversary Update where the icon would be added from the setup.exe but can be removed from startup. Icon would not be installed from Windows Update. Marking completed.

package ubuntu software properly
Packaging of ubuntu drivers into a .zip file with a name containing lots of spaces, which unzips into the current folder instead of a subfolder, and then requires the manual execution of an installer script (which may as well be called setup.exe), makes ubuntu users feel like we are running Windows again, and reminds us why we hated it so much. Ubuntu offers a superior packaging format (the .deb package), and a repository model which offers streamlined installation, and automatic updates forever. Setting up a repository for your software and packaging it properly will take very little more effort than…

Stop Recommending to disable Windows Update
Do not recommend installing the msi version of DisplayLink Drivers and then disabling Windows Update. I don't think a vendor should be recommending to customers to turn off Windows Update. DisplayLink should work out a way of getting the 2 working together. Happy to discuss further.
1 voteThis has been done since 8.0 and was only relevant to Windows 7 – Windows 10 TH2.

Issue Logging tool for Displaylink
Considering that displaylink is growing in our company we are facing more complications with Displaylink not working on particular models very well like MS surface devices. But it is also now happening to our Dell estate. So maybe DisplayLink can come with a logging tool so that when it is used it creates a dump which we can pass on to help get an answer from you quicker.
1 voteHello, thank you for the suggestion. Here is a link to a tool gathering the machine details and logs for troubleshooting. It also packages it in a ZIP file, ready to communicate to technical support

Support Night Shift and f.lux for Mac OS
As documented, there is work underway for Windows to support f.lux. However, I haven't seen any clear communication that support Night Shift of f.lux on Mac OS is in the works as neither are supported via DisplayLink. It would be really nice to have these options on Mac.

Have an exit button on the "displaylink manager software".
No need to explain more, its a basic and simple requirement. I want to exit the application when i am not using it. "DisplayLink manager" application is now like some malware which does not allow you to close it.
1 voteWindows graphics subsystem cannot just be shut down like that. That’s the reason why you often have to reboot to install some Windows Updates. This has been addressed in Windows 10 Anniversary Update onwards though, where you can just remove the utility from startup or simply not install it. Marking completed.

Some applications detect DisplayLink as incompatible display driver. Problem exists with Adobe Premiere Elements 14, X-Plane, GoPro Quik
When using DisplayLink some applications show incompatible display driver error. Problem exists with Adobe Premiere Elements 14, X-Plane, GoPro Quik on Windows 10 and I'think at last since version 8 of drivers. Solution is to open them on laptop screen and then switch to displays connected via DisplayLink (in my case i-tec USB 3.0 docking station). It would be nice if it could be solved.

Monitors randomly blacking out - SOLVED
If your monitors are blacking out using your DisplayLink D3100 check your chair.
I was having issues with my dual monitors randomly blacking out. After updating s/w, drivers and replacing the D3100 nothing worked.
As strange as it sounds, I was finally able to determine the cause was my chair. I have documented this in two videos.
1 voteThe alternative could be to use better EMI immunised cables. These usually have ferrite beads which help eliminate transients.
